“SATURDAY MUSINGS FROM THE SKULL CORNER” | OCCASIONS ONLINE 2020

Despite being written at only nineteen, my creative nonfiction essay “Saturday Musings from the Skull Corner” was the second-place winner in The CU Program of Writing and Rhetoric Writing Contest in the upper division category. Based on my many Saturdays spent leading programs at the Morrison Natural History Museum, this piece reflects on deep time, the sublime, and the value of paleontology in an ever-changing world.
